Olympus -House of Gods

..beyond its legendary sunlight and crystalline, magical waters Greece is so much more than a jewel in the Mediterranean.

Mount Olympus is notable in Greek mythology as the home of the Greek Gods, apart from the fact that it is an actual mountain with the highest peaks in Europe – Mytikas peak.
In Ancient Greek religion and mythology, there were Twelve Gods and Goddesses known as the Olympian Gods or the Twelve Olympians; the name of this powerful group of Gods came from Mount Olympus where it was said that the council of 12 would meet to discuss matters.

There was Zeus – who was referred to as the supreme ruler of all – Poseidon, Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, Hephaestus, Demeter, Hera, Hestis or Dionysus who all affected the everday lives of the people in Ancient Greece.
